Jameson Connects currently in its second year after changing its name from Jameson Live, presented a challenge in which we were to:

  • Create awareness & excitement about Jameson Connects Kenya 2017
  • Drive sales for the Jameson Connects Event
  • Reposition the brand from Jameson Live to Jameson Connects Kenya

Alternative was tasked with creating awareness & excitement about Jameson Connects Kenya 2017 , Drive sales for the Jameson Connects Event and Reposition the brand from Jameson Live to Jameson Connects Kenya.

    Relevant artist with limited singles out.

    Jameson Connects Kenya brand essence not strong due to transition from Jameson Live.

    Limited period to push and execute our strategy.

Aproach & Strategy

Our biggest opportunity for Jameson Connects was to move perception away from it being just a night time event to being one that starts late in the afternoon till late and associate it with being a festival

We decided to create a teaser, introduction and sustenance campaign that would grab everyone’s attention from just the visuals and the reveal of the artists as we had a month for the entire campaign to be impactful.

Our Conclusion

The overall event was well communicated, planned,executed and coordinated , which resulted in a sold out event.

The artists did not disappoint either as they gave fans a worthwhile show which translated to the fans having nothing but praise for the event on and off media.
